Make your home more energy efficient with the support of SEAI grants. Eligible homeowners can receive funding towards new energy-efficient windows and external doors, helping reduce upgrade costs while improving comfort, insulation and long-term energy savings.

Who can apply?
Homeowners may qualify for SEAI grants if they meet the current scheme requirements. In general, applicants should:
- Own and live in the property.
- Have a home that meets the current SEAI eligibility requirements.
- Use an SEAI Registered installer.
- Complete the works in accordance with SEAI guidelines.
Grant values
Funding is available for qualifying window and external door upgrades.
Windows
Apartment – €1,500
Mid-Terrace – €1,800
Semi-Detached / End of Terrace – €3,000
Detached – €4,000
External Doors
€800 per door
Maximum of 2 doors
Applicants may apply for the windows grant, the external doors grant, or both (subject to SEAI criteria).
Eligibility criteria
To qualify, your property generally must:
Meet the current SEAI grant requirements.
Be upgraded using qualifying products.
Be installed by an SEAI Registered contractor.
Comply with all scheme terms and conditions.
Grant payment criteria
Grant payments are processed by SEAI once:
The installation has been completed.
All required documentation has been submitted.
The work has been approved under the scheme.
Any inspections, where required, have been completed.
